Facility Management
The facilities and systems MDS delivers are built from highly sensitive technologies: radar and sensor systems, command and control rooms, secure networks, TEMPEST-protected areas, physical security, power and ELV infrastructure, and training and live-fire systems. These systems work as one integrated whole, and their performance depends on every component remaining reliable over time. Continuous, professional maintenance is essential to keep integration intact, infrastructure resilient and the facility mission-ready.
MDS provides comprehensive facility management and maintenance services for every facility and system we build or integrate:
- Preventive maintenance: scheduled inspections, testing and servicing based on manufacturer requirements and applicable standards.
- Corrective maintenance and technical support: fast fault diagnosis and repair to minimize downtime of critical systems.
- System health monitoring: continuous monitoring of networks, security systems and critical infrastructure to detect issues before they affect operations.
- Lifecycle management: spare parts planning, software and firmware updates, security patching, and upgrade and obsolescence planning.
Maintenance can be performed directly by MDS teams, or we can build the client’s own capability to sustain the facility independently. For this, we develop tailored training programs and training materials covering every area of the facility, from electrical and ELV systems to networks, cybersecurity, physical security and range systems. Personnel are trained through structured classroom and hands-on programs and supported with clear manuals, procedures and maintenance documentation.
Training doesn’t end at handover. Through continuous refresher training, updated materials and regular skills assessments, we make sure maintenance personnel keep their knowledge current as systems, threats and technologies evolve.
